Thank you, BF for the opportunity to volunteer in Houston. The past week has been an emotional rollercoaster but at the same time the most rewarding work I’ve ever done. I didn’t say goodbye to anyone, I was crying my eyes out saying goodbye to the little furry guys I’ve gotten so attached to while there.
With all the heartbreak, it helps to know, and remember that the pets that are at the NRG Arena are actually the lucky ones. They are in the best hands and receiving the best care possible.
I will never forget the friends I made, 4 legs and 2 and I’m planning on being back in a few weeks when my little sweetie will be available for adoption. 🙂 See you then!
